You know, in the end it's the little things that make the difference.
We stopped in here between museums and we stayed here longer than planned because it was just cool.
The afternoon bartender was a pro and made us feel welcomed. I think we looked pretty parched because he offered to get us some water with our pints.
One of the older locals was trying to read something at the tables and the bartender brought out a portable light to help the old fella read. Very cool.
It was quiet inside but just very comfortable overall. The beers were tasty - I wish I could remember the names and we ended up getting a few after more people came in and the energy level went up.
I'd like to try the food next time around because it looked and smelled fantastic. -

Oi mate, they have beer flights here.
It's called something else but it's exactly the same concept.
Try every cask ale jolly ole has to offer and chat it up with the locals from Fleet Street.
The bar is large, length-wise and the bathroom, err, loo is clean. It's one of the historic pubs in London.
Definitely hit it up.
Be like Louis R.
Cheers mate. -

This little pub is nice! we did enjoy ourselves here.
Now to get one thing out of the way. There are lots of tourists that come here, mostly American and mostly obnoxious.
The building is very old and a little rough, but its still cool.
The staff is good and knowledgeable. I laughed over and over when the main bar tender had to explain the difference between bourbon, whiskey and scotch to a pretentious American tourist. They also work super hard! serving drinks, bussing tables, taking out orders, and cleaning dishes.
Their Gin recipes are awesome! their selection of liquor is great and their beer selection is on point. -

A top notch pub experience. Excellent service and a great menu that goes way beyond standard pub faire. No steak and ale pie here. Lots of great beers to try and the small plate menu is a great place to start. I had the avocado toast with poached egg and chorizo sausage and it was really really good. Put the George on your schedule when visiting London it's a great stop.

A other run if the mill cool pub. I had a pint while heading back to out AirBNB. It was very busy and loud with a lot of business people.
